The Pascua Yaqui Homes project is a large-scale development located on the Pascua Yaqui tribal lands in Tucson, Arizona. This 76,100-square-foot, five-story building consists of 50 apartment units and is the ninth building in the overall development. Designed specifically as a housing facility for the tribe’s elders, it represents the third phase of a larger master-planned community on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation.
Sun Mechanical was contracted to handle the plumbing and HVAC scope of the project. The HVAC system includes split systems for individual residential units, along with rooftop units (RTU) and dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS) for the core and common areas, ensuring optimal climate control throughout the facility.
