Jim has 30 years of experience in the mechanical construction business and has been with Sun Mechanical for 12 years. His introduction to the industry was through the sheet metal union program – he’s since served as a field foreman and a project manager. For the last 17 years, he has worked in estimating. Jim leads the Estimating team and handles the budgeting, offers preconstruction design assistance, and provides value engineering.
Chuck joined Sun Mechanical more than 10 years ago as CAD Manager. He has more than 20 years’ experience in 3D piping/HVAC software (QuickPen/TSI, AutoCAD Fabrication, and MEP), and Navisworks software. Chuck oversees the CAD department, and is responsible for coordination of trades, as well as providing guidance in design challenges. He trains foremen on Navis Freedom and strives to integrate technology into construction with technology such as Hilti Robotics.
Longtime team member Elliott has been an integral part of Sun Mechanical's Safety Department for several years. He is responsible for training employees on important safety aspects of the job and ordering and maintaining safety equipment. Most importantly, Elliott diligently inspects jobsites to ensure that they are held to Sun Mechanical's high safety standards.
